The Soccer team that released all of their team's soccer players and bought 10 goats


Turkey's CNN reported that a soccer team from Turkey's lowest league recently implemented an absurd plan to reorganize its team.


The crazy plan was to release all 18 players from their team and buy 10 goats.


According to the team manager, the purpose of buying 10 goats is very clear. They make money by selling goat milk and meat.

"It is impossible for teams in the lower leagues to get corporate support or government subsidies," said Kenan, the team's chief executive in an interview with Turkish media.



Grilspor's 18 team members were transferred to another team with a transfer fee of 15,000 liras (about 2,600 USD).

He bought the goat with the transfer fee. They said it was a choice because the team was having a hard time running.


Currently, the Grilspor team is aiming to increase the number of goats to 140. Let's wait and see if they can sell goat's milk and meat to revive the soccer team.
